Job summary

Greystar in Beaverton is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for ensuring cleanliness, safety, and overall functionality of the community, both inside and outside, through hands-on repairs and routine upkeep.

You will manage work orders, oversee make-ready, maintain tools and inventory, and collaborate with the Community Manager to align with Greystar standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or building maintenance.
• Must provide own hand tools and safe handling of tools.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose and fix issues.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication with residents.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively for policy questions.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases; PM system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist and complete work orders from resident service requests and routine upkeep.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacants: pre-move-out inspection and punch list.
• Develop standards for grounds, exteriors, interiors to reflect Greystar quality.
• Inspect work by team members and contractors to ensure quality and safety.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and coordinate supplies within budget.
• Complete monthly preventative maintenance as outlined in manuals.
