Job summary

Greystar in Portland, OR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the property meet safety and quality standards. You will address resident work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with make-ready tasks for vacant units.

Responsibilities include inventory management, documentation, and basic repairs around the grounds and amenities. Certifications for refrigerants are required, and a range of attractive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Performs technical and mechanical work to keep buildings and common areas up to company standards.
• Ability to diagnose defects, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain safety practices and comply with OSHA and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders and preventative maintenance on the property.
• Prepare vacant apartments for leasing and coordinate repairs.
• Manage materials, tools, and inventory; document work performed.
• Assist with grounds upkeep, cleaning, painting, and minor repairs.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when feasible.
