Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Oregon to ensure the physical condition of buildings, grounds, and amenities meet company standards for cleanliness, safety, and function. The role involves completing work orders, preparing apartments for lease, tracking inventory, and maintaining common areas with a focus on safety compliance.

Responsibilities include safety meetings participation, documentation, and occasional contractor oversight.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance while diagnosing issues and repairing per policies and safety standards.
• Prepares vacant apartments for leasing by completing inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, and inspecting work.
• Manages materials from inventory, tracks usage, returns items, and notifies supervisor for re-orders.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities through cleaning, painting, and upkeep tasks.
• Supports cost-control by repairing parts instead of replacing when feasible.
