Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Canyon Lake Apartments in Rapid City, SD. The role supports a 109-unit complex with on-site hours Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM, plus an on-call rotation.

You’ll perform plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs to ensure quality living spaces. Compensation is $21.00–$23.00 per hour (DOE) with quarterly bonuses and extensive perks including a 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, and employee

Qualifications

• 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience.
• HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests quickly and efficiently.
• Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents.
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances.
• Interior/exterior painting and repairs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 4 weeks).

Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team at Canyon Lake Apartments, a 109-unit property located at 3741 Canyon Lake Drive in Rapid City. What You’ll Be Doing:

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience
• HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of:
• Plumbing (including copper pipe work)
• Electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, switches)
• Appliance repair
• Carpentry, drywall & painting
• Water heater systems (gas & electric)
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required
• Availability: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM + on-call rotation
