Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician for Canyon Lake Apartments in Rapid City, SD. You will perform general maintenance, respond to service requests, and prep units for new residents.

Qualifications

• 1 year of apartment or general maintenance experience
• HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
• Availability: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests quickly and efficiently
• Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances
• Interior/exterior painting and repairs
• Maintain grounds and common areas
• Conduct preventative maintenance
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 4 weeks)

What We’re Looking For:

• 1 year of apartment or general maintenance experience
• HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred
• Working knowledge of:
  • Plumbing (including copper pipe work)
  • Electrical repairs (outlets, fixtures, switches)
  • Appliance repair
  • Carpentry, drywall & painting
  • Water heater systems (gas & electric)
  • Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation required
  • Availability: Monday–Friday, 8AM – 5PM on-call rotation
