Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, on-site role in multifamily housing. You will handle preventive and corrective maintenance, perform basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, and support on-call rotations.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in maintenance, a high school diploma, and a valid driver's license. Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $25.00 per hour with benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in maintenance.
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Light plumbing and electrical experience.
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification a plus.
• Boiler experience a plus.
• Appliances knowledge including washers/dryers.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3-4 weeks
