Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Summer Green Apartments in Longview, TX. The role entails completing work orders, preparing units between tenants, and performing repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.

The candidate should have at least 1 year in maintenance, basic drywall/painting skills, light plumbing/electrical experience, and HVAC/EPA credentials preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field required.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Light plumbing and electrical experience.
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 5 weeks

Responsibilities:

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
