Job summary

Monarch Investment & Management Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for Canyon Lake Apartments in Rapid City, SD. Position is full-time, Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM with on-call rotation every fourth week.

Compensations include hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $23.00, plus quarterly bonuses, 401(k) match, and comprehensive benefits. The role requires 1+ year maintenance experience, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of apartment or general maintenance experience.
• HVAC-Boiler/EPA/CPO certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, carpentry, drywall & painting.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests quickly and efficiently.
• Turn/make-ready apartment units for new residents.
• Interior/exterior painting and repairs.
• Maintain grounds and common areas.
• Conduct preventative maintenance.
• Keep shop and work areas clean and organized.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule (1 week every 4 weeks).

What We’re Looking For:
