Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician at Country Club Villas in Abilene, TX. The role requires basic trades skills, familiarity with plumbing, electrical, drywall, and HVAC, and a willingness to participate in on-call rotations.

Location is Abilene, TX with a schedule Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm and a one-week-on/three-week rotation for on-call duties. Terrific benefits and training are offered to support your growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year maintenance experience required.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, carpentry.
• Light plumbing and electrical experience required.
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification preferred.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Boiler experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of appliances ( washers/dryers) beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC issues.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Perform exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance.
• Cover 24/7 emergency on-call rotations.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 3 weeks

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Assist in property grounds maintenance
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year experience in the maintenance field required
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• Light plumbing and electrical experience
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification preferred
• CPO Certification preferred
• Boiler experience a plus
• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation
