Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Retreat at Mill Creek Apartments. This on-site, full-time role handles repairs, unit readiness, and preventive maintenance.

You will work 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday with on-call rotation; requires 5+ years in maintenance and 3+ years in multifamily housing plus HVAC and basic trades; pre-employment screenings apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience in the maintenance field.
• 3+ years multifamily housing experience.
• HVAC experience and EPA Universal certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Light plumbing and electrical experience.
• CPO Certification preferred.
• Appliances knowledge ( washers/dryers ).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 6 weeks

Responsibilities
