Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of the property, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities. Responsibilities include completing work orders and preventative maintenance, preparing vacants, tracking inventory, documenting work, and supporting cost-control efforts.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends,

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (applies to Certified Service Technicians).
• Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property depending on size of property.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepares vacants for leasing and move-ins; conducts pre-move-out inspections and creates punch lists.
• Tracks inventory, reorders supplies, and notifies maintenance about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation to document service requests.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing when possible.
