Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the property's buildings, grounds and amenities to meet safety and quality standards. You will diagnose issues, complete work orders, and perform preventative maintenance on a 350-unit garden property scheduled Mon-Fri with rotating weekends.

Requires EPA Type 1/2 or Universal refrigerant certification, a valid driver's license, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance to diagnose and fix defects while adhering to safety standards and codes.
• Performs make-ready tasks to prepare vacants for leasing, completing pre-move-in inspections, creating punch lists, coordinating vendors, and inspecting work.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking usage, returning unused items, and notifying the supervisor when reordering is needed.
• Completes documentation and paperwork to ensure service requests are properly recorded and tracked.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, pressure-washing, painting curbs/signage, and addressing debris.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
