Job summary

Holman Enterprises is seeking a Supervisor of Accounts Payable & Receivable to lead daily AP/AR operations, supervise staff, and ensure timely processing and accurate reporting. You will manage vendor payments, collections, and cash applications, while maintaining strong internal controls and cross-functional collaboration.

The role requires a accounting or finance background with 1–3 years of progressive AP/AR experience, proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, and the ability to drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
• 1-3 years of progressive experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, cash application, or a related accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Supervise, coach, and develop AP and AR team members; establish priorities and monitor performance.
• Oversee invoice processing and payments in accordance with policies and terms.
• Monitor customer accounts and lead collections on overdue balances.
• Oversee cash applications and resolution of credits and unapplied balances.
• Review AR adjustments, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end activities.
• Prepare and analyze payment, aging, cash, and performance data for management.
• Maintain internal controls to reduce errors, fraud, and non-compliance.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Purchasing, Operations, IT to align AP/AR processes with objectives and implement improvements.
• Monitor KPIs and drive process standardization and automation.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors and provide supporting documentation.
• Oversee state tax filing and remittance process.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
