Job summary

HNTB is seeking an Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead the AP team and ensure accurate, GAAP-compliant processing. You will oversee invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments while driving process improvements across the department.

You will coach staff, including offshore teammates, participate in ERP system upgrades, and manage internal controls and reporting. A strong accounting background and supervisory experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Office and able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
• Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization.
• Experience leading and developing accounts payable staff, including offshore teams.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, coaches, and develops AP associates; supports offshore team.
• Maintains GAAP-compliant general ledger processes within ERP.
• Participates in system upgrades and testing of financial information systems.
• Ensures accurate AP transactions and vendor payments in the ERP.
• Manages month-end closes and AP-related reconciliations.
