Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product, multi-partner consumer lending business. Translate regulatory obligations into data checks and turn anomalies into regulatory answers.

You will guide a data analyst, design monitoring, and partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to expand coverage across products and jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data roles.
• Advanced SQL and experience with Snowflake/Databricks in automated pipelines.
• Experience converting regulatory obligations into data queries.
• Ability to document methods, assumptions, and evidence.
• AI-assisted development experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own design, operation, and governance of automated monitoring and evidence generation.
• Serve as primary data owner for regulatory examinations and audits.
• Triage data anomalies and route to remediation with validation.
• Map automated checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap and build self-service data pipelines.
• Steward the compliance data environment and maintain runbooks.
• Provide onboarding and coaching to a junior data analyst.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners.
