Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product consumer lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into automated data checks and translate data anomalies back into regulatory answers.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Compliance Programs, and work with a supporting data analyst while shaping the monitoring design, ownership, and automation roadmap across Engineering, Legal,

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or surveillance, or similar data role in a regulated industry.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data stack (Snowflake, Databricks) for automated pipelines, dashboards, and data quality checks.
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into data logic and write/review control logic.
• Demonstrated AI fluency and experience leveraging AI-assisted development.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring and surface exceptions with audit-ready evidence.
• Serve as primary data owner for regulatory examinations and bank partner exams, defining populations and extraction logic.
• Triage data anomalies, route findings to resolution, and support remediation with validation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements, update control inventory, and close the loop between monitoring and issues.
• Drive automation by turning recurring requests into pipelines and self-service tools, with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Steward the data environment: adjudicate source-of-truth, resolve access/quality constraints, and maintain runbooks.
