Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business. You will translate regulatory obligations into data checks and provide the necessary evidence for regulators, banks, and auditors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data roles in regulated environments.
• Experience turning regulatory obligations into data-driven checks and evidence.
• Proven ability to design automated monitoring and support audits.

Responsibilities

• Own design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring across products and partners.
• Serve as data owner for regulatory examinations and bank partner audits; define populations and extraction logic.
• Triages data anomalies, distinguishes true exceptions from artifacts, and guides remediation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain the control inventory and methodology.
• Drive automation roadmap by turning recurring reports into automated pipelines with AI-assisted tools.
• Steward the data environment, manage source-of-truth and access constraints, and document runbooks.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to a data analyst and coach for end-to-end ownership.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit and bank partners to expand coverage.
