Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services, to own the design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring for a multi-product lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into data checks and deliver audit-ready evidence while guiding a supporting data analyst.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and banking partners to expand coverage and ensure rigorous, reproducible outputs under tight

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics or a related data role within regulated industries.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with modern cloud data stacks (Snowflake/Databricks).
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into data logic and automated checks.
• Proven track record coaching junior analysts and delivering under tight deadlines.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and govern automated compliance monitoring with clear evidence.
• Own data extraction, scope requests, and validation for regulatory exams.
• Triage anomalies, document methodology, and support remediation with validation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap and build self-service data tools with oversight.
