Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services, to own the compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product consumer lending business. The role requires translating regulatory obligations into data checks and delivering audit-ready evidence.

You will mentor a junior data analyst, design monitoring, manage exam responses under deadlines, and partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to expand coverage

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data roles.
• Ability to translate regulations into data checks and evidence.
• Experience building automated pipelines and dashboards.
• Familiarity with consumer credit regulations and banking compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own automated compliance monitoring design, operation, and governance.
• Serve as data owner for regulatory exams and bank partner requests.
• Triage data anomalies, route findings, and support remediation.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap with self-service tools and AI-assisted development.
• Maintain the data environment, runbooks, and methodologies.
• Coach a junior analyst and ensure end-to-end ownership.
