Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into data checks and drive evidence-driven answers for regulators and auditors.

You will guide a data analyst, ensure quality, and shape the automation roadmap while collaborating with Engineering, Legal, and Product teams across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or surveillance, or similar data role in regulated industry.
• Advanced SQL and cloud data stack experience (Snowflake/Databricks) with automated pipelines.
• Understanding of consumer credit regulations and translating obligations into data logic.
• Ability to validate, reproduce, and document work for audits.
• Experience coaching junior analysts and driving end-to-end ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring.
• Serve as primary data owner for regulatory examinations and bank audits.
• Triage monitoring exceptions and data anomalies; route findings to resolution.
• Map checks to regulatory requirements and maintain control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap and build self-service data tooling.
• Steward the data environment, including data quality and repository documentation.
• Provide onboarding and coaching for junior analysts.
• Partner with Engineering, Legal, Product and audits to expand coverage.
