Job summary

Affirm is seeking an Analytics Lead, Strategic Insights for Compliance Shared Services to own the compliance analytics and automated monitoring for a multi-product, multi-partner lending business. You translate regulatory obligations into automated data checks and explain data anomalies to regulators and auditors.

You will mentor a junior analyst, partner with Engineering, Legal, Product, Internal Audit, and bank partners to expand monitoring coverage, and shape the automation roadmap with

Qualifications

• 5+ years in compliance analytics, monitoring or related data role in regulated industries.
• Advanced SQL and hands-on experience with cloud data stacks (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Ability to translate regulatory obligations into data checks and vice versa.
• Experience training or guiding junior analysts; able to coach for independence.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools and validating outputs.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, operation, and governance of automated compliance monitoring and evidence-producing checks.
• Serve as the primary data owner for regulatory examinations, licensing audits, and bank partner requests.
• Triage monitoring exceptions and data anomalies; drive remediation through validation and evidence review.
• Map automated checks to regulatory requirements and maintain the control inventory.
• Drive automation roadmap and build self-service data pipelines with human-in-the-loop validation.
• Steward the compliance data environment; manage data access, quality, and runbooks.
