Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Plastic Surgery department’s outpatient team in Minnesota. The role involves preoperative and postoperative care across breast reconstruction, craniofacial surgery, lymphedema, and gender-affirming care, with cross-training for coverage in other plastic surgery areas.

Responsibilities include patient evaluation, education, disease process reinforcement, EHR management, and coordinating multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• RN must be licensed and eligible to practice.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative evaluation, counseling, and education.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and non-face-to-face triage.
• Manage orders and surgical listings within the EHR per physician directions.
• Provide patient education and ensure seamless care coordination.
