Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program, as recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• One year of RN experience required.
• Must have at least one year of floor nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative patient evaluation, counseling, and education; reinforce disease process and care management.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and facilitate non-face-to-face patient triage.
• Interact with electronic health record system to manage orders, surgical listings, and coordinate with other specialties.
• Provide leadership through mentoring, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts.
• Assist in planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients.
