Job summary

The Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is a vital member of the surgical team in the outpatient setting, supporting Breast Reconstruction, Craniofacial Surgery, Lymphedema, and Gender-Affirming Care. You will be cross trained to cover multiple subspecialties within Plastic Surgery.

You will perform preoperative and postoperative evaluations, patient education, and coordinate multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program with RN licensure.
• One year of RN experience required; willingness to work in a surgical setting.
• Strong assessment, education, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative patient evaluation and education.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and manage orders in the EHR.
• Provide leadership and support within the Plastic Surgery team.
