Mayo Clinic in Minnesota seeks an Ambulatory Registered Nurse to join the Plastic Surgery team. You will support preoperative and postoperative care across Breast Reconstruction, Craniofacial, Lymphedema, and Gender-Affirming Care, working with surgeons, NPs/PAs, and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Requirements include RN licensure and at least 1 year of RN experience, with strong patient education, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program recognized by ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA.
• Minimum 1 year RN experience required.
• Strong nursing assessment skills with surgical patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Preoperative and postoperative evaluation, counseling, and education.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care and non-face-to-face triage.
• Manage orders and surgical listings in the EHR system.
• Provide leadership in mentoring and quality improvement.
