Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

• Performs medical assisting duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and assisting during routine procedures.
• Ensures patient care areas are clean, organized, stocked and ready.
• Assists patients with ambulatory needs and accompanies them to radiology or lab as needed.
• Uses electronic medical record systems to queue prescription renewals and document tasks for billing.
