Beth Israel Lahey Health in Boston is seeking a Clinical Practice Assistant to join the Ambulatory Float Pool. This role rotates across clinics for 60 to 90 days per assignment, providing cross-specialty exposure and flexible scheduling to support busy practices.

You will perform both administrative and clinical duties, including patient check-in, scheduling, vital signs, basic testing, phlebotomy under supervision, and documentation in the electronic medical record.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years related work experience required.
• Medical assisting experience via MA, CNA/LNA, EMT, PCT certificate or AS in Medical Assisting.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Phlebotomy certificate preferred.

Responsabilités

• Performs medical assisting duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and assisting during procedures.
• Greet patients, check-in, schedule, and assist with ambulation.
• Prepare clinical spaces, stock supplies, and ensure clean facilities.
• Queue prescriptions and document tasks in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate patient flow and assist with referrals and tests.
