Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Medical Assistant Student to support ambulatory practice operations in a hospital setting. You will greet patients, check-in, schedule appointments and assist with patient care under supervision.

The role also includes basic clinical tasks such as vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs and specimen collection, with training and competency assessments as you progress under a preceptor.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Basic familiarity with computers.
• Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsabilidades

• Performs medical assisting duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy and assisting during routine procedures.
• Maintains clean, organized patient care areas and assists with patient flow.
• Escorts patients to radiology and lab, and performs point-of-care testing as directed.
