Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Clinical Associate for the Winchester Hospital per diem float pool in Winchester, MA. The role combines clinical and administrative duties, including assisting with activities of daily living, patient transport, collection of specimens, and maintenance of patient charts.

The ideal candidate may be a Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with med-surg clinical rotation, or a graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program.

Qualifications

• Must have or be one of the following: Certified Nursing Assistant or nursing student with med-surg rotation or three months clinical care experience or graduate of Winchester Hospital’s Clinical Associate Training Program.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide both clinical and administrative assistance on the unit.
• Assist with ADLs, ambulation, bed making and patient transport.
• Collect/label/transport specimens and obtain vital signs; perform EKGs.
