USC Care Medical Group in Los Angeles is seeking a Support Coordinator II to help manage outpatient flow, coordinate appointments, and ensure smooth clinic operations. You will handle heavy phone activity, intake, referrals, scheduling, and reporting to support a high level of patient satisfaction.

The role requires accuracy in data entry, knowledge of insurance processes, and collaboration with physicians and staff.

Formación

• Req Demonstrated ability in customer service, intake and scheduling.
• Req Proven record of dealing with the public in a customer service role.
• Req Familiarity with word processing and major scheduling systems.
• Req Excellent English communication skills; able to work under pressure.
• Pref Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Pref 3–5 years in administrative or medical office setting.

Responsabilidades

• Process referrals, obtain outside records, verify insurance and obtain authorization.
• Schedule evaluations and clinic appointments, including labs and imaging.
• Enter and maintain information accurately in computer systems.
• Answer phones, distribute messages, and manage emails within 24 hours.
• Coordinate with care team to ensure smooth patient flow and follow‑ups.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff as needed.
