Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee activities across Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Laboratory Services and Radiology. You will guide staffing, workflow optimization, and policy implementation to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

The role emphasizes leadership, budgeting, and staff development across departments, with a standard 8-hour day Monday–Friday and a 40-hour schedule at the Barre Health Center.

Qualifications

• 1. Prior leadership/managerial experience with proven team building.
• 2. Proven project management and presentation skills.
• 3. Strong analytical skills for budgets and problem solving.
• 4. Interpersonal and written communication skills with patients and staff.
• 5. Strong problem-solving skills.
• 6. Proficiency with Microsoft applications.
• 7. A minimum of 3 years directly related work experience in the field of specialty.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and provide leadership across clinics including Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Laboratory Services and Radiology.
• Ensure staff adherence to policies and patient care standards; monitor education and competencies.
• Identify operational workflow improvements and manage staffing to meet patient needs and budget.
