UMass Memorial Medical Group in Barre, MA is seeking an Ambulatory Operations Manager to oversee Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Laboratory Services and Radiology. This exempt role requires ambulatory practice management and lab/imaging experience, with daily oversight of patient care and staff.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, 40 hours weekly. The Manager partners with Medical Director and senior leaders to execute strategic plans, manage budget to target, ensure high quality care,

Qualifications

• Ambulatory practice management experience required.
• Lab and Imaging experience required.
• In conjunction with Medical Director and leadership, responsible for strategic plan execution and daily operations.

Responsabilités

• Ensure staff adhere to system policies for nursing care standards.
• Coordinate clinical practice and deployment of clinic resources.
• Develop Scope of Service and Plan of Care for the identified area.
• Mentor and coach staff to build a cohesive service-focused team.
• Monitor staff competence and continuing education participation.
• Conduct daily patient care rounds to assess needs and ensure safety and quality.
• Direct continuity of care across patient plans and ensure family-centered care.
• Create and sustain a collaborative, patient-focused environment for clinical excellence.
• Delegate responsibilities to clinical staff and coordinators as appropriate.
• Implement patient care standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, positive work environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Ensure clinic standards align with compliance requirements.
• Identify operational workflow opportunities and implement improvements.
• Partner with Physician Leaders to ensure efficient clinic operations.
• Improve access including scheduling and support processes.
• Review metrics and develop action plans based on ambulatory data.
• Ensure efficient daily operations and staffing across assigned units.
