Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Application Specialist - Ambr Focus to support the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions from PA, NJ, MD, or DE. You will translate customer requirements into Ambr bioreactor solutions, run evaluations, and train customers, collaborating with Sales, Product Management, and Quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Life Sciences or related field, 3+ years in upstream bioprocessing or customer-facing roles, Ambr experience, willingness to travel >50%, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in application/technical support within upstream bioprocessing (PD, MSAT, cGMP, Tech Transfer).
• Experience with Ambr bioreactors and customer workflows; HT design is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot in customer environments and document findings clearly.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluations, assessments, and training for upstream systems incl. bioreactors, PAT, SCADA, and consumables.
• Design and coordinate customer evaluation plans, trials, and onboarding activities.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions to protect productivity.
• Contribute technical insights to opportunities and competitive positioning.
• Share field observations and feedback with Product Management for portfolio enhancements.
• Train other Field Application Specialists and Sales colleagues on assigned technologies.
• Provide monthly territory activity reports.
