Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Application Specialist focused on Ambr bioreactor technologies to support the Mid-Atlantic/Southeast region. You will translate customer requirements into product and workflow recommendations, conduct trials, and train customers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption.

The role requires hands-on expertise with Ambr systems, strong communication skills, and willingness to travel over 50% to support external customers across PA, NJ, MD, and DE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years of application support, technical support, field application, or related customer-facing experience in upstream bioprocessing.
• Experience with Ambr bioreactors and high-throughput workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluations, consultations, and training for upstream systems portfolio, including bioreactors, PAT, SCADA, and consumables.
• Design, coordinate, and document customer evaluation plans and outcomes to boost implementation success.
• Troubleshoot technical inquiries and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Provide application insights to shape product and workflow recommendations.
