Job summary

Sartorius North America is seeking a Field Application Specialist to support application, implementation, and qualification of Separation technologies in the MD/VA region, with occasional coverage of DE/NJ/PA. The role runs in the field, providing expert consultations, demonstrations, and trials to enable customer success.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in bioprocessing, proficiency with TFF/UF/DF/NFF, and strong collaboration across Sales, Product Management and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or equivalent in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in process development, MSAT, bioprocessing in biotech/pharma environments or field experience.
• Strong knowledge of TFF, UF/DF, NFF, viral filtration and clarification products; data-driven optimization.

Responsibilities

• Support evaluations, consultations and translate process requirements into product and workflow recommendations.
• Design, coordinate and document customer-specific evaluation and onboarding plans to improve adoption.
• Troubleshoot customer processes and coordinate corrective actions to protect productivity.
• Provide technical insights and solution recommendations for customer use cases during opportunity development.
• Capture feedback and share with Product Management to influence portfolio enhancements.
• Train internal teams and customers on technologies and start-up operations.
