Job summary

Sesame Place, part of the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment family, is seeking Ambassadors to oversee daily entertainment operations. You will coach staff, lead interviews and onboarding, train ambassadors, and ensure show standards while maintaining safety and a positive guest experience.

The role requires leadership experience in theme parks or live productions, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Park perks apply.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year of professional or college-level experience in theme park, stage, or live media production.
• 6+ months in a leadership-related role preferred.
• 1 year of theme park experience preferred.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to obtain a company driver’s license.
• Knowledge in theater craft or live media productions preferred.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to speak to large groups.
• Excellent guest and co-worker interactions across diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Kronos, SAP, Concur preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations within entertainment work groups (stage, costumes, audio, lighting, and stagehands).
• Coach, mentor, direct, evaluate, and schedule staff.
• Lead interview and orientation for ambassadors.
• Oversee training and development of ambassadors.
• Write evaluations and assist in ambassador development.
• Maintain show standards with production teams and manage budgets.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and confidentiality in operations.
• Provide excellent customer service and professional communication.
