HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director within the Transportation Business Group to lead the pursuit and delivery of large civil infrastructure projects across HDR’s US locations.

This role emphasizes collaboration with legal, risk, and client teams to shape contract terms and program strategies. You will guide regional leads, foster industry relationships, and drive continuous improvement while upholding HDR’s employee-owned culture and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in related field.
• Must maintain professional registration for technical design leadership roles.
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams.
• Commitment to HDR values and an active employee-owned culture.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive the Alternative Delivery project approvals in compliance with HDR Policy and Procedure, the Matrix of Authority, the Alternative Delivery Policy and Risk Committee approvals.
• Facilitate collaboration with HDR Business Group Alternative Delivery Directors regarding policy, staff resources, contractor relationships, and contract terms.
• Work with HDR Legal to establish and negotiate contract terms for Alternative Delivery projects.
• Facilitate collaboration among Transportation Business Group leadership and Regional Alternative Delivery Leads.
