The role focuses on pursuing and delivering major transportation infrastructure work across multiple regions, leveraging HDR’s employee‑owned culture and matrix organization. You will partner with legal, risk, and client teams to shape contracts, manage resources, and advance design‑build and P3 initiatives, while traveling up

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 10+ years of professional engineering experience on large civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading diverse teams and pursuing major transportation projects.
• Strong understanding of HDR operations and the matrix structure.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of time.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director and oversee pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policy and risk committees.
• Collaborate with HDR leadership on policy, resources, and contract terms.
• Negotiate contract terms with HDR Legal and Risk input.
• Coordinate with Transportation leadership and regional leads on client discussions.
• Lead HDR matrix collaboration across Areas, Regions, and Market Sectors.
• Advise HDR leadership on industry trends and opportunities.
