Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an experienced leader to manage Alternative Delivery projects in HDR’s Transportation Business Group.

You will drive complex contract negotiations, align with policy, and coordinate with regional leaders to advance major transportation programs. Ideal candidates bring 15+ years in civil infrastructure, strong client relationships, a deep understanding of HDR’s matrix organization, and a commitment to HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Recent and relevant Project Management experience on very large complex transportation infrastructure projects, both traditional and Alternative Delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and persuade teams with diverse interests.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate with staff and foster development of technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Project Delivery Program Director and oversee pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk committee inputs.
• Coordinate with HDR Legal to establish and negotiate contract terms for AD projects.
• Foster collaboration across Transportation Business Group leadership and regional leads.
• Engage with clients on upcoming AD projects and manage contractor/developer relationships.
