Job summary

HDR, Inc. seeks an experienced Alternative Delivery Director for the Transportation Business Group to lead pursuit and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects. You will drive approvals, coordinate with HDR policy, risk, and legal teams, and guide contract terms for complex delivery programs.

You’ll manage regional leads, foster client relationships, travel up to 50%, and help HDR advance its employee-owned, collaborative culture across diverse locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• PE license required.
• 10+ years in related field with large civil infrastructure experience.
• Experience leading diverse teams and complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Delivery Program Director for pursuit and delivery of Alternative Delivery projects.
• Drive approvals in compliance with HDR policies and risk framework.
• Coordinate with HDR policy, risk, and legal teams on contract terms.
• Collaborate with Transportation Business Group leadership and regional leads.
• Engage with clients on upcoming projects and develop teaming agreements.
• Provide leadership in HDR matrix and participate in industry associations.
