Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver a five-star customer experience in our alterations department. You will greet customers, manage appointments, and assist with pressing, steaming and pickup readiness while maintaining store standards.

Essential duties include handling phone and in-person inquiries, coordinating with the Alterations Manager, and promoting alterations services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone and online; adapt communication to solve problems.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star experiences.
• Maintain store standards and assist with alterations scheduling and pickups.
• Communicate how alterations impact dress customization and customer satisfaction.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options and assist with inventory tasks.
