David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver exceptional service to customers and support the alterations department. You will greet customers, manage appointments, and assist with pressing and finishing garments with care.

The role emphasizes a high standard of service, teamwork, and accurate transactions in a retail setting. Part-time benefits are included and accommodations are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, on the phone, or via chat.
• Use systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and escalate issues as needed.
• Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for her event in partnership with Alterations.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards, cleanliness, and promotional readiness.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments.
• Press, steam, and spot clean all merchandise.
• Inspect garments altered/steamed/pressed for pristine condition before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to meet customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Support inventory management with orders and pickups.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
• Seek assistance from the Alterations Manager for unresolved issues.
• Maintain a clean and organized alterations room.
• Perform duties as assigned by store management.
