David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to welcome customers, schedule fittings, answer phones, and support the alterations team in delivering a five-star experience. You will help guests choose options, manage appointments, and ensure garments are prepared for pickup while upholding store standards.

This role requires a high school diploma, retail experience in apparel, and comfort with POS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS is required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with enthusiasm over phone, chats and in person; adapt style to solve problems.
• Use systems to manage customer flow to deliver five-star service.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers and complete operational checklists.
• Handle multiple customers concurrently; escalate issues when needed.
• Explain how alterations can help perfect the dress and promote alterations services.
• Maintain store standards and promotional readiness.
• Escort alterations customers for appointments and manage the alterations room.
• Perform duties assigned by store management.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent degree

1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.

Prior sewing experience is helpful.

Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system
