Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to support the alterations department and deliver an exceptional customer experience. The role reports to the Store Manager and involves welcoming customers, handling appointments, answering phones, pressing garments, and ensuring items are ready for pickup.

Essential duties include promoting alterations services, maintaining store standards, and assisting with inventory and transactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers by phone, virtual chats, and in person with genuine enthusiasm and clear communication.
• Manage customer flow using systems to deliver a five-star experience.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and assist with checkout and inventory as needed.
• Ensure alterations garments are pressed, steamed, and ready for pickup.
