Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will welcome customers, book appointments, handle phones, press garments, and prepare items for pickup, reporting to the Store Manager.

You will work with alterations staff to promote services, maintain a clean, organized alterations room, and ensure garments meet David’s Bridal quality standards before delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent degree.
• 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers with enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via chat, delivering a five-star experience.
• Manage customer flow using store systems to ensure speedy and accurate service.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options to drive add-on sales.
• Press, steam, and spot-clean garments and verify pristine condition before pickup.
• Assist with appointments, checkout, and other alterations-related tasks as directed by management.
• Maintain a clean, organized alterations area and uphold dress code standards.
