Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to greet customers, manage appointments, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup. You will resolve questions, coordinate alterations with the team, and drive five-star service in a fast-paced store.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, problem-solving skills, and at least 1–2 years in retail. Prior sewing or POS experience is helpful, with a dedication to welcoming every customer and protecting store

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine enthusiasm in person, over the phone, or online and solve problems.
• Manage customer flow and use store systems to deliver five-star service.
• Assist with alterations appointments, promotions, and holdings for pickups.
• Provide exceptional service to multiple customers and escalate issues when needed.
• Explain alterations options and upsell services to enhance dresses.
• Maintain store standards and a clean alterations room.
• Complete transactions accurately at the POS and assist inventory tasks.
• Follow directions from the Alterations Manager and ensure quality before delivery.
