Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative to support the alterations department. You will welcome and service customers, book appointments, answer phones, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickups.

The role emphasizes five-star service, using store systems to manage flow, and partnering with the Alterations Manager to resolve issues. A high school diploma and 1-2 years retail experience are expected; sewing experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail experience in apparel or specialty store environment preferred.
• Sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet all service vows and operational tasks including greeting, meeting needs, and assisting customers.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store standards and dress code.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments and ensure items are ready for pickups.
• Press, steam, and spot clean garments and inspect quality before delivery.
• Build long-term relationships to exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
