Job summary

David’s Bridal is hiring an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to deliver exceptional service. The CSR welcomes customers, schedules and assists with alterations appointments, presses garments, and ensures items are ready for pickup.

The role requires friendly communication, basic sewing knowledge, and ability to handle multiple customers with care. You will work with the alterations team to uphold five-star service and store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail experience in apparel or specialty store.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in person, over the phone or via chat with friendly, solution-focused service.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver a five-star experience.
• Meet service vows: Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs, and Be There for customers with checklists.
• Address customer concerns confidently and escalate when needed.
• Explain alterations options and promote services; escort customers to alterations appointments.
• Maintain store standards and proper dress code; keep the alterations area clean and organized.
• Press, steam and spot-clean garments; ensure quality before delivery.
• Assist with inventory tasks, special orders and timely pickups.
• Process transactions accurately at the cash wrap and seek manager support when required.
• Perform duties as assigned by store management.
