Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join the alterations department. The CSR delivers a five-star customer experience, greets customers, books appointments, answers phones, and helps ensure garments are pressed and ready for pickup.

You will work closely with the Alterations Manager, maintain a clean, organized area, support inventory, handle transactions, and promote alterations services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years retail experience in apparel.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over phone, chat and in person.
• Use store systems to manage customer flow and deliver five-star service.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Press, steam and spot-clean merchandise and ensure items are ready for pickup.
• Maintain store standards and clean, organized alterations room.
• Handle transactions accurately at the cash wrap.
• Greet and escort alterations customers to appointments.
• Escalate customer issues to Alterations Manager when needed.
• Support inventory management and special orders.
