Job summary

David’s Bridal is seeking an Alterations Customer Service Representative (CSR) to welcome and assist customers, book appointments, answer phones, press garments, and ensure items are ready for pickup.

The CSR will strive to deliver a five-star experience, manage customer flow, promote alterations services, and maintain a clean, organized alterations area while upholding dress code standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years retail apparel or specialty store experience.
• Prior sewing experience is helpful.
• Experience with a computerized POS system.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm over the phone, virtual chats and in person, communicates clearly and concisely adapting style to suit customers by problem solving.
• Use all systems to manage the customer flow to deliver five-star customer experience.
• Meet service vows including Prepare, Welcome, Meet Needs & Be There for all customers, including operational tasks.
• Promote alterations services and personalization options.
• Maintain store-standards (clean, organized, promotional readiness) and assist with alterations appointments.
• Follows quality control guidelines and inspects garments altered/steamed/pressed to verify pristine condition before delivery.
